Fate and Recruiting

Every once in a while I hear some disparaging comments toward a client or a candidate.  Something like, “I heard that is not such a great company”.

This twists our focus away from what it should be.  Not to mention, you have to consider the source.  Regardless of what some person thinks of a company or a candidate, everyone belongs somewhere.  There is a certain amount of fate involved in what we do and many times our job is to help fate happen.

Wasting time making or listening to judgments from anyone who will give an opinion takes away from the real work and may cause what is supposed to happen, not to.
