Walking In Your Shoes

A great internship for all of us in recruiting would be to be put in the position of a hiring manager. There would need to be real pressure to perform. Career related. Financial impact. Maybe for a month or two.

After that, a stint in HR would be good. Walking in the shoes of the people you work with, deal with, on a daily basis would be invaluable.

This, of course, goes both ways.
