Mindfulness, the practice of witnessing or observing a thought and then disregarding it or not giving it any weight, is something that can be of great value to recruiters.

Many who practice mindfulness say it is like watching a movie or stepping outside of themselves and observing. This gives you the ability to observe a thought (or an event like a deal falling through), acknowledge it and then disregard it or let it pass.

So much time and energy is waisted on what could have been in recruiting, when attention and energy should be focused on the work that puts deals together.
