Access and Confusion

This is the future of recruiting. More and more connection. More noise and more confusion. More people are connected with phones, e-mail, text, online profiles, and data bases every day. This is going to continue.

As we’ve touched on here, the status of these data bases and connections change constantly. Everyone has a LinkedIn profile, but some people haven’t logged on to LinkedIn in years because they aren’t looking for a job. Others block messages that come in from groups because there’s just too much noise. New people enter the job market and various channels of connection every day.

Some try to solve the problem with technology and they make a dent, but the more access and the more tools that come along the more complex it becomes. Somebody has to take all this access and cut through the noise to find and attract the candidates companies are trying to bring in.
