Know What You Charge

September 14, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

I just tried to reserve a camp site for my son’s Boy Scout Troop. The person I had on the phone gave me a price that would come to about $850. I asked some questions on how they charge and they gave me another figure of around $420. Frankly, this sounds high compared to what we have paid previously.

So we decided that I should call tomorrow and speak to the manager. Now maybe this kind of thing works for campsites, but in recruiting (and most businesses) you better know how much you charge. It’s bad business not to know what price points work to run a profitable operation.
