Make or Break

January 31, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

If you have a make or break deal, or event, or launch then you are probably in trouble.

Research In Motion is widely believed to have a make or break situation with the launch of Blackberry Ten. I’m betting against them, and I used to be a big Blackberry fan. If you have a make or break situation then you don’t have a healthy business.

A healthy business doesn’t depend on any one deal, event, or launch. A healthy business flows. It’s consistent. It depends on percentage of success, not home runs.
