Wall of Worry

I heard it said the other day that the Fed Tapering of monetary policy is just another brick in the market’s wall of worry.

I agree, and that’s a good thing for all of us who want decent business conditions going forward. A wall of worry, or things that people are concerned about, is good for the stock market and good for business conditions. It causes people to hold back, to not go crazy, keeping some money on the sidelines. As companies in some industries worry and hold back orders, we know there is fuel for growth when they feel they have to push to compete.

Concern mixed in with positive results creates a balanced environment for growth.
