Contemplating Moves

September 10, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

As we have discussed many times, a candidate is not a candidate if they are not open to the idea of a change.

That’s perfectly fine and staying in the right place for the long haul has huge career and productivity benefits. But things change and there are many moving parts impacting any one person’s career. There is great value in contemplating a potential move. Spending some time on the pros and cons of a move will give you a clearer view of the resources and opportunities where you are.

If you stay, you’ll be better positioned to take advantage of those resources. If you move at some point it will be with a clearer view of resources and opportunities in both places allowing you to land where you belong. When a candidate stays or lands where they belong, everyone wins.
