This is a good story about an incredibly long interview and the benefits of that.

Long Interview

Interviews should involve a process of getting to know a person and developing a level of comfort. You don’t have to become good friends with everyone you interview, but getting to the point where you are comfortable working with them and confident in the value they will bring to the table is important.
