New Mobility

December 23, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

In 2013, home prices increased by 15 percent while wages increased by 2 percent.

The good news is that more people can afford to move now. More candidates able to relocate expands the candidate pool and that is a win for nearly everybody. Moving, however, involves buying a home in most cases and the prices in hot areas are rising enough to make the move undesirable for the newly mobile. What this does is make moves to less expensive areas more attractive.

Companies based outside of the more expensive areas can take advantage, and they will.
