Career Opportunity

That’s what most candidates want. There are surveys out there that tell us this, but you don’t really need those. It’s clearly the most attractive thing to most candidates.

Many candidates will take a less attractive starting point with more potential career advancement. We had a client recently pass on a candidate because he wanted advancement and they just didn’t want someone in that role who wanted to advance. If that is what you want, it’s best to be straight about it, but you have to understand that it will be less attractive to many candidates.

If you can offer good potential advancement, flaunt it.
