Rationalization and Recruiting

February 27, 2014 Leave a comment Go to comments

Rationalization has no place in recruiting.

Rationalization is about the reasons a deal didn’t work. Why a candidate didn’t accept, why a hiring manager decided that it just isn’t the right fit. It’s also about the reasons we shouldn’t work a search or why we shouldn’t use a certain tool or search a certain way.

But recruiting is about reaching, about connecting, about more, and rationalization is about less.
