Turning Pro

I love the term Turning Pro, especially as it relates to recruiters.

Recruiting is an incredibly independent job, whether you are internal or external. Your work is really your work and the flexibility and sole responsibility for your work are great. So it’s easy to let things slide a little (or a lot) in one area of your work or another.

Pros don’t let things slide. They’re pros, and what defines them is how diligent and consistent they are in their work. How they handle every situation like a real pro.

Amateurs play for fun, they try things out. Pros play for keeps.
