Salary Guidance

Talking salary is tricky for recruiters.

We don’t pay the salary and it’s not our place to art it. Candidates work for money so it’s important, but budgets are important too and candidates are not all equal in what they bring to the table.

A good way to handle money talk is to talk about the salary guidance that we have. Salary guidance tells the candidate that this is the general info we have, but it doesn’t box them out or box the company in.
