Interesting article here about the political ramifications of the great wage slowdown.

The Great Wage Slowdown

It’s true, for most jobs incomes have not risen for 15 years. Positions become more difficult to fill over time as incomes stay the same. At some point this will change, but it may not happen for quite some time. Low labor participation and relatively high unemployment create a labor market with more options for employers and there is still more pressure to contain costs than there is to spend to grow.
