Random Thoughts On Recruiting – Activity Up
Activity is up. We are seeing some stronger numbers again this week in new job orders and good submittals. More interviews are being set as well. So are we off to the races? I don’t think it is quite that yet, but there are plenty of good opportunities to fill jobs.
It does feel like this is going to continue. Positive chatter about new needs among clients and prospective clients is up as well. Importantly, in industries across the board and in all sorts of positions, we see that the lion’s share of candidates submitted are candidates that clients did not find on their own. This is the case even on jobs that clients had been working on for a while before coming to us.
Recruiting has not changed significantly over the last couple of years. Business conditions did, but not the fact that good third party recruiters bring a ton of value to the table and expand their clients’ search.
